“Prehistoric” couple John and Val Lord demonstrate ancient technology
One of the Society's aims is to promote archaeology to the wider public - especially to children. With this in mind, the Society runs a series of Touch Tables & Activity Days.
The Archaeological 'Touch Table' is now a feature of the Peebles Arts Festival - offering the chance to examine and handle a wide variety of archaeological artefacts.
Our 'Activity Days' provide an opportunity for young and old to try their hand at a range of ancient skills!
